Remember Me
Making prints sounds simple at first — just hit the print button, right? Well… yes and no. Prints can actually be quite involved depending on how far you want to go with them. Once you cross the line of producing a signed print, you’re basically putting your integrity on the line. A signature is a “seal of approval” when it comes to prints, and this is something you shouldn’t take lightly.
UPDATE: I’ve changed the title of the series from “Making Prints for Display” to “Making Fine Art Prints”. I think it’s more fitting for the topics we’ll be discussing.
Signing prints seems to be a “hidden secret” for those who haven’t done it yet. Nobody really talks about it! In addition, signed prints tend to go beyond just a signature: prep, print, frame, ship, etc. But don’t get overwhelmed — there’s a common theme among all of this: “the photographer is in-charge of the final product.” Whatever you decide to do, there’s no wrong answer. The discussions that follow are not intended to be hard-set rules, only suggestions and guidelines.
The Shelby County District Attorney's Office announced earlier this week that public nuisance actions had been filed against the owners of 12 homes, including the one on Medley.
The actions stem from an investigation in which undercover Memphis cops bought drugs inside the homes.
On Sunday, in Viewpoint, follow an undercover officer as he buys crack cocaine in the Medley house and across the city.

http://www.siddhayatan.org http://www.yogeeshashram.org http://www.siddhalishree.com (blog) Significance, Meaning, Definition of AUM, OM, OHM Transcription Significance of AUM AUM is a natural sound. In Sanskrit A stand for Brahma, U for Vishnu and M for Shiva. The combination of three powers makes up AUM and this combination embodies God with creative, sustaining and destructive powers. AUM, the sound, is in our blood. The first sound that a baby makes is A, then Uuh and then the word Ma. This natural sound connects us to God. In Hindu culture, the baby is considered very pure with no ideology and therefore close to God. AUM in English is equivalent to GOD; G for generative power, O for operative power and D for destructive power. The sound of AUM can activate and open all the seven charkas especially the sahasrar, which is located at the top of the head. According to Hindu culture that is where God resides. AUM was discovered by the rishis. Rishis are the people who can see the truth. How can you see these hidden powers in yourself? It is known that new cells are always forming in our bodies, other cells are always dying and something always remains the same -- Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu. Our memory, which remains the same and connects us to the past, is called the operative power. Everything is a combination of these three powers. For example, if you want to change a gold earring to a bracelet the goldsmith will melt (Shiva, destructive power) the gold (Vishnu, operative power that which stays the same) and make a new bracelet (Brahma, generative power). You can learn to chant the sound of AUM in a certain way to activate all the chakras. Also certain colors are created through the chanting of this sound. When you chant AUM you are already improving yourself. Most religions are utilizing this sound. In Christianity it is the word amen. Chanting benefits the person physically, mentally, and spiritually. *tags* spiritual, spirituality, spiritual teacher, spiritual guru, spiritual master, seeker, truth, enlightenment, peace, self-realization, meditation, awareness truth about god, truth about spirituality, spiritual truth, truth about bible, truth about jesus, truth about swamis, hindu, jain, india, us, Christian, catholic, jewish, islam, muslim, religion, pope john paul II, yoga meditation, spiritual meditation, yoga meditation, yoga poses, yoga toes, tantric yoga, yoga clothing, yoga positions for beginners, yoga positions, acharya yogeesh, bikram yoga, online yoga, benefits of yoga, kriya yoga, namaste yoga, yoga exercise, yoga techniques, pranayama, breathing, kundalini yoga, hatha yoga, raja yoga, yoga journal, india, yoga postures, yoga magazine, pilates, christian yoga, vinyasa yoga, yoga nidra, spirituality, meditation, yogeeshashram, bad religion, acharya yogeesh, spirituality, freedom of religion, losing my religion, islam religion, barack obama's religion, world religions, religions, mayan religion, aztec religion, catholic religion, hindu religion, buddhist religion, jain religion, jehovah witness, protestant, greek religion, jewish religion, cherokee religion, native american religion, meditation, yoga, mormon religion, jesus christ, mohammed, krishna, wiccan religion, cults, different religions, spiritual religion, pirituality, acharya yogeesh, how to meditate meditation techniques, meditation music, transcendental meditation, guided meditation, buddhist meditation, benefits of meditation, history of meditation, meditations, cosmic meditation, communion meditations, christian meditation, daily meditations, easy meditation techniques, meditation methods, meditation instructions, meditation guru, meditation retreats hindu meditation, aum, ohm, om, sanskrit

Hello everyone. What a wonderful idea for a site. I am a natural born healer/psychic-medium who has been developed naturally by those in the world of Spirit. I believe all gifts are of God and that I am but an instrument. I respect all faiths and beliefs (or non beliefs) but those are mine.
I have done readings for people for years free of charge and still NEVER charge for healing and never will. I charge now for readings as my time is being taken up more and more with people who come to me, then pay a fortune to someone else to check who is right and who isn't! They keep coming back telling me mine was the accurate one, but still never pay me. I have realised that I was being silly and so now charge for my time, but try to keep prices low.
I have a blog and have 2 books on display on a site called Authonomy. Neither book is yet finished, but aren't that far off. One has a sample chapter on my blog. I accept bookings for reading via. the blog and Paypal. I was offering just e-mail reading as they were very accurate and it is easy to type them out quickly. I have done them for people all over the world now and find it a super way to connect. If anyone wants a telephone reading this can be arranged by e-mailing me, but it is much cheaper for them not to do it this way. I attach the link here for you to click on if you want to see the blog page
http://lorriespsychicreadingsonline.blogspot.com/
for Authonomy to see my books go to
http://www.authonomy.com/Profile.aspx
and just scroll down and click on "read" for whichever book you want to read.
Well that's me. Hope to catch up with you on here. Thanks for your time, Lorraine. xx

There has been quite a bit of activity over on facebook, as Tony Camero announced the reopening of Psychic Web. Members and readers alike are excited about the ability to reconnect. The new site promises to feature a variety of events in addition to psychic readings. I'll try and update as soon as I know more.
In the meantime ... Psychic Web is inviting psychics, healers, readers, mystics, and astrologers to register to participate on the new site ... http://psychicweb.com/calling-all-psychics/
That is too funny. How typical of him.
I was in the chatroom when the "leopard" showed up. It was both laughable and pathetic. A hit and run attack. Interesting that he didn't feel he could spend more than an 11 second post to either attack or defend in person. One can only assume that he didn't have more than 11 seconds worth of ammunition..... Must be difficult when you shoot all your bullets that quickly..
THIS is how Doug responds ...
He came into our chatroom on our Diarnothe site. The following is a cut and paste of his actions ... Leopard, btw, is Doug ... LOL
(Jun 12-18:18) Leopard has joined.

I've tried this ... it's wonderful!
They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. And I am sincerely flattered ... I think. But it`s not the first time I`ve had my ideas 'borrowed'.
True to nature, Doug has taken yet another idea I've had. After desperately trying to stop me from helping others, he's now decided that Webmercials (he's even using the same word I am) are the way to go. He's not done a bad job, for an amateur. However, after having reviewed it, there's a reason why it's a good idea to hire a professional for doing this kind of work. As an award winning photographer and designer, I do think I'm qualifed to comment. There are many areas where it could have been vastly improved.
Perhaps now, he's satisfied his need for self-gratification. I just hope he leaves our sites alone, at least until the need for his next 'fix' and stops trying to sabotage anything he sees as competition.
This be real good, and real easy. Modify the ingredients as you be likin!
Makes enough to be feedin 4 - 6.
1 large red onion, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
2 ripe tomatoes, seeded and chopped
Half a jar of sofrito (available in most spanish grocery sections)
3 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped fine
1 boneless chicken breast, cut into strips about 1/4 to 1/2 inch
3 cups medium grain or arborio rice -use 1 3/4 cup liquid to each cup of rice
1 medium chorico sausage, chopped into 1/2 inch slices then cut into 4's
Half a pound of large shrimp, cooked or raw. If raw, shell and devein before cooking.
3 -6 cups Chicken stock to use as liquid for cooking rice. Can use half chicken stock and water. 1 3/4 cups liquid for each cup rice
1 cup frozen peas
Saffron - just a pinch or so, seep in boiling chicken stock to add to rice liquid
1 tin of smoked mussels. You can cook fresh mussels too and add them with shells when the shrimp is added at the end. Use 10 or so chopped smoked mussels-more or less to taste.
Olive oil
Heat a large pan (one that can be covered and has sides on it) and add 3 tbls. olive oil. In olive oil, saute garlic and chopped red onion until onion is translucent and starting to brown a little. Add chopped chicken and chorico, cook 10 -15 mins until done. Add peppers, cook 5 mins/ Add tomatoes, cook additional 5 mins. Add half a jar or so of sofrito and chopped smoked mussels, stir and let cook additional 3 minutes. Add 3 cups of rice, stir and let cook 2 - 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add 1 3/4 cups chicken stock or half chicken stock, half water per cup of rice, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid to boil. To boiled 1/2 cup of chicken stock, add saffron and let steep 5 -6 minutes then add to pan. Bring to boil, add shrimp on the top and 1 cup of frozen peas (don't stir pan after adding liquid) If adding cooked mussels in the shells, add them at this time and then turn down heat and let simmer slowly until liquid is absorbed. Enjoy!
Well ... perhaps now he needs to be named. Yes, Doug is at it again. He's managed to have not one, not two, not three ... but FOUR posts deleted off the WAHM board, for no other reason that he was desperate not to let psychics have a choice.
The only thing I was letting them know, was the fact that they could advertise their services on this site for FREE. They could even have advertised that they read on his site. However, I think I'll also take the time shortly, to let people know about some of his shady practices vis a vis readers and clients. Be VERY careful what you say. Be VERY careful who you say it to. Be VERY VERY careful! All is not what it appears.
I have kept copies of the posts I placed, and may perhaps copy them here ... so that people can see how very twisted this man is. He's like that very abusive partner you leave ... he never really stops the abuse.
Welcome ... !! Make yourself at home. Please add your site to the Mystic's Directory. As long as you are logged in, you can then click on the Submit a Web Link further down on the left under the "User Menu" and send us the information for your site.
As far as introductions are concerned, I'm going to have to stop by one of these days and add a few more lines ... :-)
In the meantime ... feel free to let us know if there is anything we can add to this site to improve it.
It seems that this man cannot allow anyone to help anyone else. He's deliberately trying to undermine any kind of interaction in his insatiable need to maintain control.
In his mindless rage, he's managed to have 3 posts on the WAHM board deleted for no reason other than the fact that he can't stand when someone is doing something decent.
Perhaps it's time that he tries to work on his own inadequacies before I start to let the psychics who read on his site, as well as the poor clients who are also unaware, about some of the realities going on there.
You know who you are ... and you know what I mean. Give it up!
Thank you for the invite, what a wonderful place you have created here. Oh yeah, its me Felicity, still out and about and still doing what I BELIEVE in. Look forward to meeting others here, and becoming part of this special place.
